Reel Servicing

Here at Ox Tackle Developments I can service all makes and models of fishing reels except Daiwa's new Mag Seal equiped spinning reels.

If you are seeking a warranty claim then it is best to return the reel to the store where you purchased it.

I offer specialist servicing for reels used on fishing kayaks and carbontex drag upgrades for those of you seeking smoother drag performance or more stopping power from your reel.

I also offer reel re-spools in IGFA monofilament and braided lines suitable for both overhead and spinning reels in a variety of line weights.

What's the Process

If you're lucky enough to be on Waiheke, give me a call on 0210 260 1275 and you can arrange to meet me at the store or we can arrange an after hours pick up or drop off.

If you're boating somewhere around Waiheke and need an urgent reel repair, call me and we can arrange a meeting ashore and we'll do our best to get you back in the game.

If you live on the mainland it's as simple as popping down to your local post shop or calling your favourite courier company and posting your reel to me. We recommend that you use tracking postage for your own peace of mind.
